Coming up: 19:45 duty hours with circadian rhythm 100% off-cycle (starts at 4:20pm PST) 13:40 flight time 3 legs (Hahn, Germany- Baku, Azerbaijan- Zhengzhou Xinzheng, China- Shanghai, China) 1 Captain (me) ... priceless. Oh, the romance and glamour of being an cargo pilot... If we were passenger pilots this wouldnt be even close to legal under FAR 117, but as a cargo guy Im apparently superhuman and the proven science of fatigue doesnt apply to me. I suppose I could raise a stink, but the result would be Id still have to do it and will have painted a target on my back.
