Comittee constituted to inquire Chinigund dam incident: Nadeem Nadu, Sachnews Jammu Kashmir reporter: Anantnag, June 26: DDC Anantnag Saugat Biswas has constituted an inquiry committee to fix the responsibility of the death of a 15 year old girl who fell in to a dam in Chinigund in Dooru area and died 3 days back. Two other girls who had also fell in the dam , were rescued by the locals. The angry mob had set ablaze the office of the irrigation department in the area. Additional Dy.Commissioner Anantnag MohammadYousuf Bhat has been appointed the enquiry officer and Sheikh Inayat, Tehsildar Shangus will assist ADC in conducting the inquiry. They have been asked to submit the report within three days. Pertinent that Nisar Ahmad Kar , The Assistant Ex.Engineer of the concerned Sub Division has been placed under suspension and attached to DDCs office till the inquiry is over. .
