Commanding the obligatory and forbidding the unlawful will not shorten ones lifespan nor will it decrease ones sustenance. Because Allaah has eternally willed for you to receive an amount of sustenance, you will not receive a dollar more or a dollar less, and as a slave you are also given a number of breaths, you will not live a second longer, or die a second before the specified time, because the will of Allaah does not change. We are all going to die, whether you are at home, or in the midst of a battlefield, death will reach you. So, strive for your death to be an honourable one.
