Commandment number 6, You shall not murder. I dont believe this is referring to just physically killing someone. You can kill someone with the words you speak! I learned that from personal experience. I was treated terrible in public school from primary through high school. Someone constantly put me down! But 9th grade was the worst! 9th-12th grade came down on me I was literally hated by everyone. Ill never forget students laughing in my face & saying things like your a loser such a baby grow up! Your a joke, I came home everyday in tears , had countless sleepless nights for fear of what I was going to face the next day, tried to hide myself in the bathroom stalls, watched teachers see kids harass me but they just walked away, sat alone at lunch hearing every student that walked by make a smart remark. We searched for help but the only answer we ever got was We cant control what comes out of a students mouth The worst thing anyone could say was Just ignore them It wasnt that easy when everyday I was faced with hatred from everyone! I completely shut down & started failing in all my classes. I remember feeling so trapped & didnt believe my life was worth living anymore. It was the hardest thing Ive ever had to go through! But just when I thought no one understood someone did! God did! Once I realized I was weak I finally surrendered everything to God & from that point on Ive never been happier! Thankful that God pulled me through & led me to the school that I graduated from! Words can hurt! I try my best to speak kindly to everyone I meet because I NEVER want to cause someone the pain that I experienced!! & no matter who you are, you are a beautiful creation made by God! You shall not murder Dont physically murder someone! But also dont kill someone with hurtful words!
