Commando 2 will not have Akshay Kumar : Director-producer Vipul Shah, whose last release Commando had Vidyut Jammwal in the lead, is busy scripting the sequel to the action film. While it was reported that Akshay Kumar was a likely choice to play the lead in the film along with Jammwal, Shah, however, refutes such talks. “We are still writing the story. Nothing has been decided as yet. Why should Akshay Kumar be in Commando 2?, he questions. Meanwhile, Shah has announced the sequel to the 2007 romantic- comedy Namastey London which will star Akshay Kumar. While the female lead is yet to be finalised, Shah says that it will be a happy love story. “Nothing has been finalised. I have yet to discuss the nitty-gritty of the project with Akshay. I have only read the script to him and he has agreed to do the film,” he said. While the original had a strong message of patriotism woven into the romantic story, what the sequel holds will be unravelled in the days to come. Namastey London 2, to be co-produced by Akshay Kumar and Vipul Shah, will be shot extensively in Switzerland, Germany,Punjab, Mumbai and France. via- IE
