I love your writing; its deep, especially the two poems, To My Father (Parts 1 and II). The line in Part I: The person I became in your absence, the person I became in my mothers presence. These lines settle deep in my heart, including the lines, In your absence I created a cushion to handle the falls, becoming a master at navigating the hurt and pain. I connected to those lines; and the second part of the poem, its like you captured the words that Ive been trying to put together for years.
