In essence, we advocate a proactive recruitment agenda, tailored to meet your needs Commercial Manager (Commodity Sourcing & Consumer Goods) – Makasar Job Description Shape favorable public policy: stakeholder engagement and advocacy; understand political systems Must ensure efficient and effective leadership of the team: Identifying and providing necessary skills and capabilities for the commodity buyers, productively challenging ideas and inspiring courageous thinking, providing support when necessary and motivating for great performance Must remain close to the related commodity industry and crop developments regular interface with external stakeholders (suppliers, farmers, and collectors) Implement the commodity sourcing strategy for the company. Oversee and manage the procurement process resulting from the sourcing strategies; covering establishment of robust, secure and sustainable supply base, managing business and supplier quality risks, ensuring clear procurement requirements and guidelines, establishing and optimizing the supply chain, and improving supply performance and value creation Ensure that all procurement are within the framework of “value for money” and “competitive advantage” taking into account total cost ownership, price risk managing and lean supply chain principles. Management of prime operating plan and raw materials coverage strategy to achieve targeted buying performance is a key deliverable. Management of value creation and cross functional improvement projects Pricing forecasting in a highly complex and volatile commodity environment, providing the business with timely intelligence on pricing and availability risks as well as spotting new opportunities early Develop and maintain wet bean supply pipeline for the business and supply the right quantity and quality Drive and execute sustainable sourcing for the company through excellent farmer engagement and improved farm productivity to position us as the preferred customer Drive Innovation through sourcing initiatives and internal/external stakeholder relationships Establish and maintain relationships with the key internal stakeholders to ensure understanding of their needs and to facilitate the appropriate level of challenge Ensure compliance with policies, systems and controls. Communicate business risk and opportunity to the Business. Lead a team of commodity buyers in different sourcing area across Sulawesi Developing a strong team with high engagement and high levels of mutual support Maintaining and driving a clear agenda to ensure the commodity we are sourcing meet our sustainability commitments. Developing the talents, capabilities and careers of all team members Plan department budget/operational costs and ensure that spending & targets are monitored regularly so that it does not exceed the agreed budgets Actively involved in the company’s S&OP meeting and set proper actions/follow-up in relation to raw materials or processes Ensure competitive pricing and effective risk management Participate in relevant external forums and associations Interact frequently and closely with the Global Commodity Category team as well as other regional and Global Commercial teams The job requires intensive stakeholder management with upcountry supply, R&D, Q&A, S&F and Sustainability to meet the business’ commodity supply needs Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in any field from a reputable university At least 5 years of managerial experience in related field within multinational Agricultural or FMCG companies Experience in sourcing commodities Experience in supply chain sustainability would be an advantage Good understanding in the company’s business goals and strategies, and strong business ethics Team player, must be able to establish a good and diplomatic working relationship with colleagues within the team, unit, segment, and with other segments and units Delivers Consistent Results and Creates Collaborative Relationships Develops Talent and engages Associates Integrity and Trust Planning, Drive for Results, and Managing and Measuring Work Managing Vision & Purpose, Building Effective Teams & Motivating Others Stakeholder engagement Fluent English High level of verbal and written communication skills in English The post Commercial Manager (Commodity Sourcing & Consumer Goods) – Makasar – PT Monroe Consulting Group appeared first on Lowongan ID Sulawesi Selatan.
