Today I will do what others wont, so tomorrow I can accomplish what others cant - Jerry Rice Hi all, As most of you know, were well into a nomination process has been started by the Conservative Party. This means that constituents must purchase a membership by May 22nd at 3:00 PM to be eligible to vote for me on nomination day. The nomination election itself will take place sometime in mid-June. Well keep you posted as to the exact date and location. We believe that we need a minimum of 3,000 memberships sold in order to win. This is a massive number - probably the biggest nomination in the country. Were hearing that one of my opponents, Mohinder Banga, is predicting that he could sell as many as 4,000 memberships. Heres what I need you to do: 1. Please call or text 780-668-0916, or e-mail MikeLakeMP@gmail and well get you signed up. Anyone 14 years of age or older, and a Permanent Resident of Canada or a Canadian Citizen can sign up to vote. Cost is $15 per person. 2. Please share this with everyone you know living in South Edmonton (E of Gateway, S of Anthony Henday Dr., and W of Gateway, S of Ellerslie Rd.), Leduc, Beaumont, Wetaskiwin, Devon, Millet, Calmar and surrounding area. We know that there are thousands of people out there who will support us if they just know about it. Please find them! 4. After eight years as Member of Parliament for Edmonton - Mill Woods - Beaumont, I made the decision to run in the constituency of Edmonton-Wetaskiwin because its my dream to represent the region in which I grew up, and in which I currently live.
