Commission Chair JC Sanford confirmed tonight at the BOE meeting that the county will send out a default notice to the operator of the Whitepath Golf Course on Monday. The chairman’s statement was in response to Citizen Lonnie Fowler’s comment, who asked how much revenue the golf course has brought in for the last two months. Sanford said it hasn’t brought any revenue for the last two months. Fowler implied that the golf course was two months behind on its lease. Sanford said two checks were brought in, but they were for the old amount, which Sanford said were rejected because they were considered a partial payment.
