Commitment means staying loyal to what you said you were going to do long after the mood you said it in had left. Words spoken become seeds. How well do your seeds grow? Are the seeds thrown out carelessly or carefully. With purposelessness or with intention? How well we keep our word determines how strong the cement of our character becomes. Failing to follow through with our word corrupts our image of self and paints a picture for others of unreliability. By keeping our word and doing what we say we will do, we grow seeds of reliability with others and integrity for ourselves. Try being loyal to your words today and everyday.
