Community Connections Leah Corr (right), a program specialist, is one the most vivacious staff members at the National Capital Chapter. She has been with the society for over three years now and the opportunity to positively impact the lives of clients, families and children keeps Leah working diligently. Her favorite events are with the Kidventure programs. Leah and her department take children, who have a parent with MS, to do fun events that range from: baseball and basketball games, to zoo trips and bowling excursions. If she could do this program every weekend, she would love it! Leah started running two years ago with the start of the chapter’s Run MS program and continued with the Rock ‘n’ Roll USA Half Marathon last March. This Sunday, October 26, Leah will be running a whopping 26.2 miles in the 39th edition of the Marine Corps Marathon. We’re so proud that she’s running her very first marathon for Run MS!
