Community Meetings Being Held for Plans (Fayetteville, N.C.) – A series of community meetings will be held by the City’s Community Development Department to talk with citizens about community issues and to help identify community needs in preparation of the 2015-2020 Consolidated Plan and the 2015-2016 Annual Action Plan. Citizen input and participation is requested, so that the City may improve existing programs or design new ones. Topics of discussion will include housing, community investment, community development and homelessness. Meetings are scheduled for the following dates: Thursday, Jan. 8, Bethel Baptist Church (300 Andy St.) Tuesday, Jan. 13, Massey Hill Recreation Center (1612 Camden Road) Thursday, Jan. 15, Fire Station #14 (400 Langdon St.) Tuesday, Jan. 20, Old Wilmington Road NRC (229 Lincoln Drive) Thursday, Jan. 22, Good Hope M. B.
