Community Question: I have a question for a caregiver of Vascular Dementia. My husband is only 59 but has been diagnosed with vascular dementia. He has had vascular issues since he was 30. Someone told us recently that one difference in vascular dementia and Alzheimers is that he would not ever forget who I am but just wouldnt remember when he saw me last. Does this sound correct? It gave him a lot of relief and I dont want to worry him with it if it isnt true but just was curious myself. Just curious. Thanks.
