Community member needs advice! What do you do when your spouse refuses to care for themselves even though they are capable? My husband is in end stage diabetes mainly because of his lack of taking his disease seriously. He refuses to take his medication like hes suppose to, sleeps all day and then we hes awake expects me to wait on him hand and foot. I care for our 2 children on top of all the housework, finances, yardwork and our 9 pets he insisted we have (that arent potty trained and refuses to let me leave them outside). Im exhausted all the time, which leaves me irritable and aggrevated! All I ask of him is to pick up after himself and help me clean up after the pets, but hed rather sleep his life away. I am so unhappy, but I love him tremendously. We cant get help from elder services because hes ONLY 36 (Im 30) Please Help!
