CommunityServiceAnnouncenent: I am advocate board member for AFSP and the Team Captain of Talk To Us for the AFSP Washington DC Walk. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is at the forefront of research, education and prevention initiatives designed to reduce loss of life from suicide. With more than 36,000+ lives lost each year in the U.S. and over one million worldwide, the importance of AFSPs mission has never been greater, nor our work more urgent. Depression/Suicide is stigma in this society and at times it is a very sensitive discussion. However, the community needs to address and educate on all signs such as -depression, bullying, and low self-esteem etc in order to save individuals lives. #Depression #SuicidePrevention #MentalHealthAwareness This is my 3rd Out of the Darkness, I hope you will consider supporting my participation in this event.
