Build with HTML5 and CSS3 and have explored and used the latest principles such as BEM, SMAACS, OOCSS and Atomic Web Design. Have an understanding of JavaScript and can use it to build interaction enhancements Have experience in front end tooling such as Grunt/Gulp, Bower and Yeoman Want to contribute ideas and interactions to the wider design team – the sooner you can get ideas into code and test them in the browser, the better. Interested in designing robust modular systems, not static websites. See the world in semantic markup. Have the ability to challenge design ideas and technical approaches. Friendly and adaptable, detail-orientated, driven, and enjoy working transparently. Job Requirement: Build elegant interfaces across multiple platforms, devices, and resolutions. Collaborate with UX and graphic designers to iterate proposed solutions. Pair with software engineers and our QA team to ensure high web standards. Help further develop our component library and modularized style sheets. Define standards of accessibility, progressive enhancement, mobile-first principles, and responsive design, as appropriate for new projects. Engage in the entire product development cycle to understand business objectives and user goals, and ensure solutions offer true value to our customers. Promote brand and interface guidelines, and know when to break the rules. Encourage the use of modern best practices and workflows throughout the organization.
