Compelling! What I find so inspiring about Brendon Burchard is the refreshing absence of hype in his passionate determination to support people in using their own adversity to improve their own lives through their contribution to the world. We can live our lives just chilling out, or we can decide to become contributors. To my mind, chilling out means not bothering to question; accepting other peoples agenda, because thats easier than aspiring to a higher agenda; turning a blind eye to inconvenient atrocities, or appeasing our conscience by supporting charities, without regard to the real cause behind the inequities in our world. Sooner or later, the chilled life is going to catch up with us, delivering consequences which are going to be far worse than those weve experienced so far. Crazed psychos gunning down schoolchildren in the US, religious extremists gunning down schoolchildren in Pakistan, genocide in Germany, genocide in Rwanda - these will pale into insignificance compared to whole-planet catastrophes of the future if we continue to ignore the wholesale vandalism represented by the destruction of our environment. Brendons message is about making a difference in the world. Everything is interconnected. The more of us who rise to the challenge of making a difference, the greater our chances of turning around the fortunes of Mother Earth, in all her aspects, before its too late.
