Competition is a dirty word to a liberal. Liberals are always talking about level playing fields. They want to take from those who have and give to those who have not. They do not believe hard workers who take risks and earn money should keep all of it. They see themselves as the guardians of those who are poor and downtrodden who live in poverty because of the greedy entrepreneurs who walked all over them. They believe it is their duty to punish these people by stealing from them. Their answer to this dilemma is to win elections any way possible so that they can have the power to work their agenda of spreading the wealth around to make everyone equal, but in reality, equally poor. When they use words like reform or balanced they are talking about distribution of income and wealth, and that is just plain wrong.
