Competition is inevitable, and price undercutting is so common - TopicsExpress

Competition is inevitable, and price undercutting is so common nowadays in any industry. With that being said, should we do the same to lower our rates to declare price war with others? My answer is NO. If everyone keeps cutting their prices to match those of competitors, prices will continue to drop which will erode margins for the entire niche, and eventually destroying that industry. What will happened to the people who are willing to pay for the best quality they can find? Yes, they may get some JEMS along the way, but they are rare. and usually these JEMS wont survive for long or grow if they remain at low price, because local market does not allow big sales volume to compensate. So most of the time WHAT YOU PAY IS WHAT YOU GET. So for those whore guilty of undercutting, why dont you try to win your customers over with excellent customer service or providing impeccable service that will leave your customers bragging about you and/or your company, rather than undercutting and/or selling something of low quality & cheaply made product/service?
