Compliance Officer Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Job Description: Job Purpose: •Control the proper implementation of fighting money laundering’s law, and ensure the proper review of transactions and their applied commissions Responsibilities: •Ensure compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures, as well as, the Saudi laws and regulations •Provide guidance and assistance to ensure the compliance with the fighting money laundering and terrorist financing laws •Review the recommendations issued to the CEO regarding the efficiency of fighting money laundering and terrorist financing’s procedures •Ensure the proper review of all operations that might denote any suspect relation with money laundering or terrorist financing •Review the periodic reports on suspect operations •Investigate suspect operations and prepare a related periodic report (monthly at least) to be submitted to the Senior Management/Management Committee •Follow up on internal audit inspection reports •Report regularly to Senior Management/Committee on any identified breaches and the remedial measures recommended to fix them, and report on the status of remedial actions already taken •Ensure the proper maintenance of a centralized database to capture the information on suspect persons •Liase with Capital Market Authority •Review CMA reporting •Ensure the employees continuous training and the participation of trainers and concerned employee in conferences and lectures, enabling them to keep abreast of latest methods of fighting money laundering and terrorist financing Desired Profile: •University degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on banking and finance or equivalent •At least 10 years of experience in compliance, out of which 5 years in a supervisory position within a leading bank •Competent in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. •Strong verbal and written communications skills in English. •Good planning, organizational and interpersonal skills.
