Compliment of The Day, for me: After Ministering at my friend Larry Burdettes Wifes Funeral Julie Jennings-Burdette, an older fellow named Payton came by the casket where I was shaking hands with folks, thanking the folks for being there, and he caught contact with my eyes and was staring a hole in me. I asked him if anything was wrong. He simply replied, Son, Im Old, and that was the finest sermon I ever heard in my life. B-) Made my eyes twinkle! He also added this, If youre around when I die, Id like for you to preach my funeral! B-) The Holy Ghost was in the House! Pray for my buddy Larry, he is truly heart-broken. His Wife Julie is WAYLON JENNINGS daughter.
