Comrade Shehu Sani, you speak the truth sir. Until I laid my hand on one of Lenins work IMPERIALISM, THE HIGHEST STAGE OF CAPITALISM recently, I couldnt agree with you more. Because I know what you are talking about. I dont blame Western imperial forces but our ruling elites, the bourgeoisie whom are avaricious. Their greed leads to mass death daily. But who will prosecute who? Who will checkmate who? When they control political and economic power. When I saw the figures the militants earn monthly, I was shocked, back then in 2012. Asari that was contracted to guard pipelines, was one of the highest earner. I am still shocked right now, remembering those figures. In my burning activist nature I came out and scolded the government vehemently. Is it that our military cant secure our pipelines except the perpetrators? So shameful a government action. The money paid to these few called militants, in fact, the money paid to just one of them can be used to clean up the whole polluted Niger Delta region. The north own case on the bourgeoisie is unspeakeable. They prefer to help the rulers of U.A.E develop Dubai than look after the region. They are more greedy than their Southern counterparts. They abandoned the Talakawa to cruel fate. Must Aminu Kano come back to life before the northern commoners would have a voice? Some Imams, Sheikhs and traditional rulers join in exploiting the vulnerable Amajiris. The Almajiris who cant read the Quran, and does not posses the intellectual power to reason for themselves. They accept anything the Imam says on friday, even if he taught them to hate their southern neighbours whom are called infidel. They believe him. They respect the traditional rulers to the core because ancient culture gives the monarchs much power. The poor folk are sent to beg and bring to them. They lie in the name of religion that their blessings are multiplied in heaven. They advise the Almajiris that Western education is not their culture and is against Allahs will. While their own kids are sent abroad to study. Even the Aboki(s) doing manial jobs such as shoe shining, clothes patching, nail cutting, knife sharpening, etc. under hot sun and rain are working for one Alhaji or the other. They remit the money they get from such jobs to Alhaji through his tax collector. The worst is that these plebeians left the wives and children with the Alhaji their boss, who then cater for their welfare(feeding, shelter etc) and as well renders matrimonial services to the women. The same goes for the Fulani plebeians who are Alhajis herdsmen. Any of the elitist apology can spare me if I dont buy into their regional politics, party dichotomy and fracas. The worst apologists that nauseate me are those our Nigerian brethren whom have been sponsored by the vilian political elites to study or work in overseas. This set of considerate ignoramuses has lost taste of the sufferings of the common man at home. The suffering of the proletariats. Like they say Time heals The sufferings at home is healed off from their memory over time. Totally eradicated that they became Tabula Rasa, and then refilled their brain with defense strategies for each of their glorified political lord. They now enjoy steady power supply, good education, adequate healthcare, good roads, clean water, technology and substantial wages among other benefits. So they open their mouth to patronize Jonathan, those from the south. While those from the north patronize Buhari, Tambuwal and other colleagues. Those from West patronize Tinubu, Fashola, Ogbeni and others. Those from east, you can tell are of the same routine. I hate reading their arguments because it lacks dignity. These our Obodoyibo Nigerians, are just selfish like the elites whom they support and sing praises for. If the common man is not needed in the society, then all those working for Dangote should resign and no one should work for him anymore, lets see how he will do all the work by himself in his suit and remain the richest man, even for a day. Likewise other elite capitalist. They are ten in number that control the Nigerian economy. The government monopolize the economy into their hands. The politicians own shares in their companies. They even have joint-ventures under pseudo names. The cunning bourgeoisie. The point is, man is a social being i.e cannot leave independently without the others. So a society can not exist without others such as the proletariat. Therefore while the proletariat and the lumpenproletariat strive to survive in vigorous exertions, mostly for the bourgeoisie, the government must ensure better living conditions such as provision of the basic social amenities. The political rulers were elected to serve the people and not a few set of individuals. Nigerian ruling elites live on the contrary. Maybe its because of the voodooist cults they cowardly run to for protection, that orientate them to pursue immoral and devilish agendas. We voted them en mass but they only serve the agendas of their secret gods. A friend once said devil will add more firewood to this set of politicians side of hellfire The Revolution is coming and if their ignorant children and cronies join in their footsteps, they wont be spared. As quoted by Professor Pius Adesanmi.
