Concerning Aspergers Syndrome and explicit content. Some parents have problems exposing their aspie children to certain content (that they would allow for a Neurotypicals child) simply because they are afraid their aspie will imitate the behavior portrayed. And some aspies do, giving parents the wrong idea. I think guidance is extremely important. While I dont generally encourage parents to deliberately introduce their aspie to these things, I DO encourage parents to teach their aspie that what is portrayed is simply fantasy, and is not acceptable to imitate. This is coming from an aspie teen that owns explicit Eminem albums, plays Call of Duty, watches graphic shows like American Horror Story and The Walking Dead. Trust me, guidance IS important Joey
