Concerning my failure to record Saturday Night Live post earlier----I want to say BEFORE IT EVEN GETS STARTED:---- -I think its time for the people that think that the ONLY good SNLs were in the first year or two with Belushi and Akroyd. I watch some of those old 70s SNLs now and they are really not very good----it was just a very different kind of comedy that was far more edgy than you could see any place else on TV, nobody had ever seen before anything like it before so just about anything they did was hilarious. There have been a multitude of good and great seasons and casts of SNL over the years---that in many cases--- would make the 70s episodes look silly. The ONLY thing I can figure out is that once the original cast was gone-----so were the original casts faithful viewers and the new crew were never given a chance. Plus-----the first change-over were not very good either. But there have been TONS of brilliant casts and skits over the years.
