Concert etiquette has become ridiculous. People care more about talking and holding up their phone than listening to the show. At ACL Live tapings you are asked to put your phone away. That means last night at Beck I never had to look out to a sea of phones. Instead I looked out on to a crowd of engaged fans. It made the experience that much better. I miss that.
