Conclusions from last nights show. As touched on briefly, Hulk - TopicsExpress

Conclusions from last nights show. As touched on briefly, Hulk Hogan most likely can beat the holy hell out of Woody Allen. Strength is not courage, but they are married. Courage is overcoming fear. Strength is the result. Strength, the immeasurable aspect, is power over fear. When looking at the less quantifiable aspects of strength I accidentally came upon this. I asked the question; is it the province of the strong to protect the weak or the right of the strong to subjugate the weak. I didnt think to find an answer to this, simply propose it and allow you to think on it. But when postulating why I felt Mercy is for the weak, to be amongst the most asinine phrases to ever be uttered, it dawned on me. For example: Conan was in a Kushite market, peeing on a camel. We all know Conan is physical strong, and are now aware of either his rudeness or incontinence. Three Kushite soldier see him peeing on said Camel and are immediately beset by jealousy at the sight of his huge Cimmerian wang. They decide the should attack him as much for enticing their huge wang deprived women, as much for his insulting display of public urination Conan is startled, pees a little more, then puts his wang away in his lion pelt loin cloth. He shows strength by not running away, but patiently waits to see what these three Kushites want, with their swords drawn, and that angry spittle caught in the corner of their mouths. A fight ensues. Conan pulls his sword out, kills one of them immediately, cuts the other ones arm off, then swings at the crotch of the third. Thanks to the little Kushite peepee, it hits him in the inner thigh, luckily missing the femoral artery, but leaving him prone and helpless before his enemy. The Kushite has two choices. He can be brave and defiant, or beg for his life. Lets give this poor guy a little credit. He tells Conan that he had best kill him or he will come after him again for what he did to his comrades. He shows some courage, (or stupidity depending on how big a pussy you are)in the face of impending death. So he does possess some strength, just not the kind thats good in a sword fight. (Plus lets not forget he was in a group, attacking one dude with his dick in his hand.) This gives Conan two choices. He can act out of fear, the fear that eventually this Kushite could kill him. If he chooses this, he is not acting out a position of strength. It would, in fact be an act of weakness. He could, however let the Kushite live, confident in his own power to overcome the Kushite, as well as not wanting to live in fear, knowing that life is a constant danger anyway. This would be an act that overcame fear, and would prove his position of strength. Of course, Conan, not being John Wayne, who would have punched his lights out, then helped him up and bought him a beer, (Because John Wayne is the shit!!)finds a third option and stomps on his foes ankle until the bone is powder, then walks away. He let him live, but he was a little weary of retaliation so he decided to pad the odds in his favor. Because if youve ever read Conan, you know hes a bit of an asshole. (The Kushite dies three days later from infection, but that isnt important to my point.) The point is, mercy is not for the weak, but reserved for the strong, as only the strong are in a position to give it. If this is true, it should reasonably follow that in is the purview of the strong to protect the weak, and subjugation would be an act of fearfulness, and those perpetrating it are not truly strong.
