Concrete storm water cover was broken in Albert Street yesterday by the Mill driveway and was sitting at a 45 degree angle - could be a hazard. Rang the council and told them about it. They thought it was a water authority repair job. Rang Central Highlands Water - the very helpful lady checked the area maps and found it was a Central Goldfields Shire repair job, being storm water. Rang the shire back....mentioned CHW said storm water was their jurisdiction. I also mentioned that the cover was a hazard and if someone was injured they might sue the shire. Might be a rapid repair if they think they will be sued! Will see what today brings....
