Conducting deliverances is not wrong. It is infact Biblical. What teachers do by pushing out the truth against error/light against darkness of the mind is a form of deliverance. However, what is wrong is if we create an impression that were telling the truth whereas we are merely telling a version of a lie that appears as the truth, but which is in all intent a lie in the final analysis. Jesus Christ did not create a ministry out of engaging demons, and never told us to either. He told us clearly to stare clear of the mystical or magical; The miraculous would follow a man who is pursuing GOD. But a man who is pursuing the miraculous is setting himself up for serious trouble. Here again is that golden rule of EMPHASIS. What He said was that we should seek the Kingdom of GOD paramountly; the result of which is that, we would not only get what we need to achieve life and godliness, But we would also be able to nullify or make void the effect of things that arent needed or useful for our lives and achievement of godliness. We would be able to trample upon serpents and scorpions and overcome the power of the intruding demonic entities. We would, like Jesus, be going about our daily business loving GOD and loving our fellow men, and if or when an intrusion is made or attempted on our dimension by the fallen ones, the power within us, like a storm, which is greater than the power at work in the world would stir up, raise a standard against them, deal with the issue, and afterwards change chapter back to the MAIN MATTER; which is to love the Lord our GOD with all our heart, soul, and mind, and love our neighbour as ourselves. It is one thing to swipe at a mosquito while trying to sleep. It is another thing to stay up all night, (not sleeping, although thats what you want), just because youre busy swiping at mosquitos. Thats the obsession of the deliverance ministries and the miracle seekers. READ YOUR BIBLE, MEDITATE, PRAY, & OBEY GOD...Kuorire
