Conecuh County – A single-vehicle crash THURSDAY afternoon has claimed the life of a Louisville, Ky., woman. Adela Jorge, 67, was killed when the 2003 Chevrolet she was driving ran off the road and overturned. Jorge, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred this afternoon at approximately 1:52 p.m. on Interstate 65 two miles south of Evergreen. No further information is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
