Confession: I have cried more tears today than I have in a long time. Our apartment is awesome! It is in the exact spot we need it! The foundation had put some staples in the pantry and had everything ready to go! They even put up a Christmas tree with lights, but no ornaments so Tacey can put her ornaments on it! Wow!! We couldnt have asked for anything nicer or more appropriate! The tears were from having to say good-bye to Michael. Tacey started crying the minute we finished unloading. She and Michael snuggled on the couch while I fixed dinner. Yes, you read that right! I fixed dinner!! Okay, so I opened a jar of spaghetti sauce and boiled the spaghetti! In my book, if you have to turn on the oven or the stove it is considered cooking!! LOL Michael left shortly after we ate. It was very hard to watch Tacey be so sad and then to see Michael be so sad and then to be sad myself!! I keep telling the 3 of us this is what we have to do for now. It is only for a short time. We can do it!!! I might sound tough and strong, but the tears are flowing even as I am typing this. Tomorrow will be better! While Tacey watched some tv, I got everything but one suitcase unpacked and most of it put away where it belongs. We need to get a couple of things at the store tomorrow and some groceries, but for now all is good! I have most of tomorrow for us to do those things and finish putting everything away. Tacey is scheduled for radiation until 5:30 tomorrow afternoon. We will have to be there earlier to do some paperwork and blood counts, but then everything should be ready to go! We really need your PRAYERS tomorrow as this is a whole new experience! We also need your PRAYERS that everything goes as smoothly as possible and the time passes quickly!! We are trying to stay positive and make it an adventure, but that is difficult at times! Thank you, Chance for Hope Foundation and Andrea for providing our family with this beautiful and comfortable apartment!! We are truly blessed! Thank you for your PRAYERS for our family!!
