Confession: I jumped on the anti-vaccine bandwagon when I was pregnant with Kylah. I really believed it was better for her not to, especially considering most of the illnesses are so easily treated an non life threatening. She has never had a shot in her life. Till today. I researched and leaned a few months ago, that vaccines are actually very safe, and I also realized that even though ky has a very strong immune system, I dont want her to contract a vaccine preventable disease and pass it to someone with a weakened immune system. Today she got her very first set of shots. 6 shots! :( that was so so so sad. She was a trooper and only cried for a minute but I feel TERRIBLE.
