Confirmed: 35-year-old Jermaine Melvin of Willowdene, St. Catherine was fatally shot by unknown assailants along a section of the Linstead bypass on Sunday. Sometime after 7 pm, Melvin was inside a bar in the area when gunmen pounced and robbed several persons. Before they made their escape, the armed men reportedly demanded the car keys belonging to Melvin and shot him to death. Police have launched a hunt for the men responsible for the attack.
