Confirmed: Dr. David Lowe, Chief Revenue Officer of Caribbean Producers Jamaica Limited, called on the nation’s leadership to come face to face with what he described as inconvenient truths and act expeditiously in focusing on the impediments to entrepreneurial and commercial activity. He was speaking at the Mona School of Business and Management (MSBM) first International conference on Business and Management held earlier this month in Montego Bay. Among the issues Dr. Lowe called the government to focus on include: to fast track the Public Sector Transformation; seek funding and technical assistance to address the slow justice system, and “identify outdated laws that are obstructive in business development and growth and choose to either repeal or amend same.”
