Confirmed: Health authorities in Scotland have confirmed that a healthcare worker has been diagnosed with Ebola. According to NHS Scotland, the patient who returned to Scotland last night from Sierra Leone has been placed in isolation, and is receiving treatment in the specialist Brownlee Unit for Infectious Diseases on the Gartnavel Hospital campus. All possible contacts with the patient are now being probed and anyone deemed to be at risk will be contacted and closely monitored statement from NHS Scotland declared
