Confirmed: Lobby group CAPI, has described as confusing, information coming from a special meeting by the NHT board seeking to justify the Outameni Experience purchase and stated that it was a deliberate effort to deceive. According to co-convener Dennis Meadows, the explanation by board members Lambert Brown and Percival Latouche conflicts with that given by Mr. Easton Douglas, chairman of the NHT. CAPI further asserted that the mixed and confusing information emanating from the board makes the call for a probe by the Office of the Contractor General (OCG) and Auditor General (AG) even more timely and put’s into question the real motivation for such an acquisition.
