Confirmed: The Captain of an ill-fated ferry which sank in April, killing more than 300 persons has been sentenced to 36 years after being convicted in South Korea, for gross negligence. The ferry was carrying a total of 476 persons, when it sank, with over 300 persons perishing, most of them students.
