Congrats to Jeff Utzler for receiving his BLUE BELT in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. This is actually quite an accomplishment at Evolve and well deserved! We have had TWO Blue Belt BJJ promotions in 18 months. Many gyms are giving out belts like candy at a parade. Jeff is one of our most CONSISTENT Students by far...he NEVER misses GI or NOGI....He stays after practice to get extra work in and he always seeks out the toughest guys in the gym to train with. It wasnt too long ago that I was smashing him on a daily basis but those days are over... I thought I might stop calling him Tramp Stamp now that he is no longer a white belt but then I realized that would be impossible because I have issues. Even though Jeff has an affection for Thai Boys he is still one of my favorite members at Evolve and I love him like...well....like a guy I have known for a couple years that rolls around on the ground with me while we try to hurt each other. COACH------Please promote Kyle Rozewski before he goes to China...HE DESERVES IT!
