Congrats to our good friend Simplice Ribouem on winning the silver medal at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games, with a total of 349kg (153kg snatch and 196kg clean & jerk). Simplice was on track for gold until the jury overturned what was an obvious no-lift by the eventual winner. Nonetheless, Simplice was all class and clearly demonstrated that he was the STRONGEST lifter of the day! We were fortunate enough to have Simplice training at TSR Barbell earlier this year during his prep for the Games. Here he’s smashing out a few lazy jerks and some heavy front rack holds.
