Congratulations Afghanistan! 1. This is a good model for post-conflict countries since winner-takes-all only works in established democracies with strong institutions. 2. The days of ethnic superiority are over. All ethnic groups know their rights and demand their share in governance. Deny them that and you risk disintegrating the country. 3. Losers: extremist hotheads in both camps. 4. Winners: in shaallah the people of Afghanistan. 5. The big challenge: paying the bills now that foreign handouts will be drastically reduced. 6. What do we do with Dostum? :)
