Congratulations Andy Downing and Jindabyne Landscaping. I’m super stoked to announce that Jindabyne Landscaping have won the contract to rebuild “Majura Pines,” with Craig Stonestreet and myself leading the design and building team. For those of you who know us Andy, Craig and myself have embarked on a trail building frenzy up here in the Mountains, building the Thredbo Valley Trail, Lake Crackenback, Bungarra network, Tyrolean network, Thredbo B-line, Mill Creek trail, Copper tom Trail, Bicentennial trail, Baw Baw DH and other skills parks and pump tracks. About 3 months ago we heard Majura Pines was being turned into a recreational area. Having lived in Canberra for over 32 years Majura was the birth place of my single trail MTB riding. I rode with a young guy called Jarod Rando and first bumped into a young kid, Dylan Cooper out on the trails at Majura. We will be moving to Canberra around January and weather permitting finish Majura Pines early April. I’m not going to say much more other than 3 months, 3 Downhill trails, numerous cross country trails, 2 excavators and a promise to build Majura back up to its place as one of the country’s leading MTB area’s…….stay Tuned. I’m so dam excited!. First walk through yesterday with Katherine, Sophie and Andrew from the ACT government and Craig and Andy. Paul Ps We are looking for one more Canberra resident to join our building team.
