What is the highest maximum HP a Pokémon can have in the current Standard format, and how can it be achieved? There are multiple answers, all involving M Venusaur-ex or M Kangaskhan-ex reaching 330 HP. M Venusaur-ex is paired with some combination of 5 total Floette+Umbreon on the bench, with a Plasma Badge required if Umbreon is used. If no Umbreon is in play, M Venusaur-ex can be equipped with a Giant Cape. M Kangaskhan-ex, on the other hand, must be paired with 4 Umbreon and a Plasma Badge, and then gains +20 HP from Aspertia City Gym. (Reminder: Training Center does not increase the HP of mega evolutions!) 6. What is the highest maximum HP a Pokémon can have in the current Expanded format, and how is it achieved? Conkeldurr with 56 fighting energy. Alternatively, a fighting energy can be switched with a Giant Cape. (Conkeldurr cant have 57 energy cards because 1 card must always remain in your prizes while the game is being played.) An opposing Training Center gives it 30 more HP, putting it at a whopping 1,290 HP. Also, a fun note: In order to not run out of cards and lose the game, your opponent would have to have played cards like N or Hooligans Jim & Cass to shuffle cards back into your deck. 7. What Neo: Genesis holographic card was mistranslated to English, turning an otherwise unplayable card into a tournament-winning archetype that became one of the only cards to ever be banned from tournament play? Slowking. (In Japan, the Pokémon Power only worked in the active position, which made it impossible to use more than one during your opponents turn.) 8.
