Congratulations Mario on your great flats fly fishing trip this week! Mario is an avid fly fisherman. He came down to Cozumel last year for a full day trip of flats fly fishing with us. He was trying to catch his first Bonefish on fly. My guides, Enrique and Juan took him and his son Luca out. They saw lots of bonefish that day. Unfortunately the Bonefish didn’t seem to be hungry or interested in taking any of the many flies that he tossed at them. As any experienced fly fisherman he was a little disappointed at the end of his trip. Due to the fact of the many Bonefish that Mario saw on his trip last year, he decided to try again this year. He made his trip reservation ahead of time with us for another full day trip of fly flats fishing for Bonefish making sure that Enrique and Juan were his guides. This year was completely different. The day of his trip Mario landed 8 nice Bonefish, lost or broke off a lot more while his son Lucan landed 3 nice ones as well. Mario is so happy with the fishing trip they had that he is already making plans for his trip next year.
