Congratulations to Gus who was adopted last weekend at our event in Walnut Creek. He was plumb tuckered out from all the attention he got. This goofy boy came to us as a HUSKY MIX Yeah right! He does has a curly cork screw tail (like a pig) but other than that we just called him California white dog with curly tail Gus was a sneak aboard from a euthanasia list. I was not expecting him and was completely distraught when the transporter told me he was aboard. I just did not have a foster or room for one more big dog. I was told she could take him back to the shelter but we would never consider that. So Gus came into the TDS program and we set out to find out who he was.He is a 10 month old silly heart who loves just everyone. He is happy, well adjusted and full of goofball dorkyness. In the next set of pix I am going to show you how silly this dog is. He was adopted and is going to be the soulmate of a 15 year old boy who never let go of the leash......it was love at first sight. LOVE you Gus and a good lesson for me not to stres what dog comes to us. They all will go home in the end!
