Congratulations to HOOPER OF THE MONTH!!! Come meet her at hOOpy Hour!!! Ruth Watson Ruth started hooping in 2008 when she was in California. She was mesmerized by two hoopers on stilts at a parade in San Francisco, and all she could think is, I must do that. Dance seemed to come easily for Ruth as she went to outdoor shows and just let her body flow with the music. At first, Ruth taught herself everything by experimenting and viewing online tutorials, but she has really excelled since she started taking classes from Kristina, at O Dance, a year ago. Ruth says that the classes have taught her many fundamentals and they also keep her motivated to practice and show up to class each week! Ruths passion comes from inside as well as from inspiration of those around her. She loves to take a few hoops everywhere she goes and just watch the love and joy that flows from everyone when they pick up a hoop and spin! We love Ruth and her exuberance, she also is a beautiful mover and she, herself, is mesmerizing inside the hoop.
