Congratulations to Lydia Sale, who signed today with Belmont Abbey!! Here is the official release: Swain High senior outside hitter Lydia Sale signed Wednesday to continue her volleyball career at Belmont Abbey College. Sale helped to lead the Lady Devils to a 20-6 overall record this past season, leading the team with 299 kills, she also added 385 digs and 371 service receptions. As a junior she paced the Lady Devils with 305 kills. Sale is a three sport letterman at Swain, lettering in volleyball, basketball, and track. “I am excited for the opportunity to continue my volleyball career at Belmont Abbey, it is truly a dream come true for me. None of it would have been possible without God, wonderful teammates and coaches, as well as being fortunate enough to play in such a supportive community, I am truly blessed.”
