Congratulations to Lyuben Karavelov” Regional Library in Ruse (Bulgaria) – which celebrated its 125th anniversary in April. To celebrate, the library hosted a scientific conference in honour of the poet and revolutionary, Lyuben Karavelov, after whom the library is named. The library received several awards, among them the Ruse plaque for its role in library development and an honorary St. Cyril and Methodius” medal. Representatives of the Bulgarian government, Ruse Municipality and over 30 scientists and researchers from Bulgaria and abroad attended the conference.
