Congratulations to San Joses very own Richard Gertman, who won the Recycler of the Year Award for his career-long leadership in finding innovative,sustainable solutions to reduce and recycle our waste stream. (Hes receiving the honor from the Resource Recovery Association, which is in town for its annual convention -- good to have them here in San Jose, eating take-out from our restaurants on recyclable and compostable plates...)
