Congratulations to all of the kids on a hard fought and well deserved 46-24 victory over the Analy Tigers this evening in the first dual of the 2015 SCL season – a match that pitted the two defending SCL Co-Champions against each other right off the bat. The kids wrestled very well and it was good to see them be so aggressive and hard-nosed. We took a big step forward during the weekend of our tournament and it was nice to see the continue upwards. We got behind early (18-6) by losing 3 of the first 4 matches but then wheeled off 8 big wins in a row and 9 of the last 10 matches. We also scored bonus points in all but 2 of those 10 wins, which was huge. The coaching staff was very proud of the efforts of each and every one of the kids tonight. And there is still so much improvement we can make.
