Congratulations to darling Er Waseem Akram Paba for having been awarded the mandate by PDP to contest the upcoming assembly elections from the Charar-I-Sharif constituency. The PDparty high command rewarded candidate Waseem for his relentless work in developing the PDparty grass-roots, as a party worker from last 9 years. While addressing various mammoth gatherings over the past couple of days, Candidate Waseem made development the catchword of his addresses. In the roadshow he conducted across different localities of his constituency yesterday, he made balanced sound-bytes, and put certain realistic points forward as his priorities in order to let his constituency get out from being the neglected land of NC, which are :- (1) The town of Chadoora is only 16 Kilometres away from the heart of Srinagar city and Charar - I - Sharif constituency areas are 35 Kilometres away from the city, where the former is getting the benefit of being tagged as an officially backward area, the latter is getting deprived of the benefits which accrue to the area under backward area status because of non-backward. This speaks a lot about the malfeasance in the intentions of the successive MLAs from Charar - I - Sharif constituency. (2) I wont let anybody go scot-free on the charges of corruption and electoral malpractices, even if it is the incumbent MLA from the constituency. The candidate said that his party has decided to take the matter of corrupt dealings and black money of the incumbent MLA with the PM soaeb of India. (3) Making no bones of the candidate Waseems look-alikeness with SRK, the candidate said that he has decided to make SRK as the Private Secretary to the R and B minister of state, which candidate Waseem himself is going to be, having been promised the portfolio by both, Party patron as well as PM soaeb. He said he is going to institute SRK fund out from his MLA fund for the sake of his campaigners.......to be continued
