Congratulations to our ALL Our Bexar County Republican Party candidates for running great races! Here are some take-aways from last night * Republicans Will Hurd and Rick Galindo upsetting incumbent Ds to win Congressional District 23 and State House District 117 * We are so proud of our Historic win of The CHIEF JUSTICE 4th Ct of Appeals - Sandee Bryan Marian! * Republicans winning ALL-BUT-ONE (30 of 31!) of the contested county-wide local judicial races in Bexar. Art Rossi missed the cut by 2,579 votes. * Republicans carrying Bexar in all the state races at the top of the ticket except Lieutenant Governor -- where Ds had a candidate from SA -- and Supreme Court Place 7 where it was almost a tie with 117-vote difference *Republicans split county-wide non-judicial races (Rs won District Clerk and County Clerk; Ds won DA, County Judge & Comm #4) The big surprise was in DA Susan Reeds upset by $1.2 million dollar+ campaign funded by Trial lawyer Thomas J Henry. I am proud, as we all should be, of Carlton Soules & Tim Wilson for running a good race with the limited resources. They are FANTASTIC Candidates and look to see more of them in the future!
